Hello Everyone! My name is LenaJeanne born Alena Jeanne Smith, in a small quiet town in southern Arkansas. I was born and raised in a much different way than my children and most probably your children. It was a much simpler life, one with fresh vegetables, hot bus rides, juicy watermelons, catchin fish, swimin in the river, runnin through fields, and a touch of freedom that I don’t allow my children to have.
Somehow along the way we believed that becoming industrialized was bigger and better and gave you more, but I’m here today to just give you a touch of the old ways. The ways of Southern livin if you will. The way a lady lives. A simple way. One without the need for robust chemicals. One with the need to love yourself from the outside in!
Being raised poor we never had much my momma and I, but we had a lot of love and laughter. I grew up not understanding why I was different, having Aspergers allowed me to see the world in a light that many could not see.
I later produced two children who themselves are autistic and lend such beauty to this world, and like me they become obsessed with certain items. For myself I became obsessed about 10 years ago with curing my rosacea and acne. At the time I was obtaining my Master’s in Chemistry and worked in a botanical biochemistry lab with green tea and tomatoes. I learned the art of extraction protocols very well in this lab.
It was my boss who first suggested I design my own lotions to help with my skin problems. I started researching then, but not the type of natural holistic research most individuals do. I have designed lines that contain ingredients that have been peer reviewed for specific properties and can be found in journals that I would publish my own research in.
In the last ten years I have entered and now am in my 4th year of my PhD in Advanced Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry at the University of Kentucky in the Markey Cancer Center where my research center around pancreatic cancer and a specific tumor suppressor called PHLPP.
I have also raised my two beautifully autistic children with quite a bit of success! YAY! And met the man of my dreams along the way…tall …dark…handsome..and so sweet that I know God sent him down from Heaven just for me.
My future plans include getting married YAY and entering into medical school after my PhD next year. This will fulfill one lifelong dream of being a pediatric oncologist and bringing relief to children and their families! My second goal is to expand my line of biochemically designed lotions and cosmetics for today’s organic woman! I desire and design to bring to YOU a line of cosmetics that changes the way you see yourself….and the way you view lotions. Let me show you how beautiful you are under that makeup…..let me show you what you show the world everyday…a natural beauty!
My firm belief as a biochemist (PhD), as a wife (future :-P), as a mommy and, as an autism mommy, but especially as a woman, that we should not put anything ON the largest organ of our body our skin that we would not put in our mouths. Therefore, my line is completely edible; however, I do not advise it considering that I just don’t think it would taste that great!
I believe an investment in my product isn’t just an investment in me, but also an investment in yourself. If you have any special requirements message me and I can customize any lotion or any product to fit YOUR sensitivity/need.
Until the morrow!
